Joey Roesler, Esq. is an entertainment attorney and entrepreneur specializing in intellectual property, corporate law, and the creator economy. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of CMG Talent, a creator agency with a staff of 20 representing more than 130 creators, and the founder of Roesler Law, a boutique Beverly Hills law firm representing entertainers, entrepreneurs, and corporations.

Joey also serves as Chief Operating Officer of CMG Worldwide, a leading intellectual property and rights-management company, where he oversees companywide strategy and execution across departments, as well as all litigation involving CMG and its portfolio companies.

Together, CMG Worldwide, CMG Talent, and Roesler Law operate at the intersection of entertainment, intellectual property, and personal services. Across these businesses, Joey has negotiated more than 5,000 licensing, endorsement, and personal-services agreements and resolved hundreds of disputes for agency and law firm clients. His approach is pragmatic, strategic, and collegial—while remaining highly aggressive when circumstances require it. He is also regularly engaged as an expert witness in complex entertainment disputes.

Joey earned both his business and law degrees from the University of Southern California. He graduated near the top of his law school class with a certificate in entertainment law after completing undergraduate concentrations in quantitative finance and computer science. He serves on three corporate boards and is an active member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association. A frequent speaker at industry conferences and panels, Joey most recently delivered the keynote presentation at the ABA Sports, Entertainment, and Intellectual Property Law Conference in October 2025.

Outside the office, Joey is an avid sailor, skier, and world traveler.
